Katherines Comfort was founded in 2007 by Ashley Johnson-Blanks for
her mother-in-law Katherine Blanks who was diagnosed with breast cancer. Living on a low income with five children and
not being able to work to her full ablitly motivated me to start this non profit charit hopes to mobilize community
resources of all kinds, including dollars, volunteers, gifts in kind, advocacy, expertise and more to help take some
of the burden off these women shoulders.
